Some links on WaitVisa are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase with the partner, WaitVisa may earn a commission. There is no extra cost to you.

Our current affiliate partners are:

• SafetyWing — travel medical insurance, recommended on Schengen visa pages where the EU Visa Code legally requires applicants to carry insurance with €30,000+ coverage.
• RushTranslate — USCIS-certified certified document translations, recommended across all detail pages because most visa applications require certified English translations of supporting documents.

Affiliate cards are clearly labeled Sponsored in the user interface so you always know when a recommendation is monetized. We may add or remove partners as we evaluate which ones serve our readers well.

Editorial independence

Affiliate relationships do not influence the visa processing time data we publish. All processing times come directly from publicly available government sources — USCIS, the US State Department, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, UK Visas & Immigration, the Australian Department of Home Affairs, Immigration New Zealand, and the European Commission's Schengen visa statistics. We have no financial relationship with any of these agencies and no incentive to skew the numbers.

Data we collect

• Google Analytics 4 — we use GA4 to understand which pages are useful and how readers find the site. GA4 sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_QGTQ0PMYPP) on .waitvisa.com.
• Email subscriptions — if you sign up for processing time alerts, we store your email address, the visa type you're tracking, and (optionally) a wait-time threshold. We use this only to send the alerts you requested. We do not share or sell email addresses.
• No personal account data — we don't require sign-ups to view processing times. The site is fully browsable anonymously.

Outbound links

When you click an affiliate link, you are redirected to the partner's own website. The partner's privacy policy and cookie practices apply at that point. WaitVisa does not load partner JavaScript, pixels, or trackers on its own pages — affiliate tracking is purely a query parameter on the outbound link.
